A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

A Brighter Future is a small strategy game in which every action you take can lead to different outcomes in the future.  While you play, you will be able to see the present and the future simultaneously (although you'll only have control over the present).

Made in 3 days for the Mini Jam 63: Future

Mini jam is a 72-hour-long, game development jam for independent game developers that occurs every two weeks.

Rules

The rules are very simple: You have a limited stack of tiles (with houses, farms, factories, rocks, and more!). You draw three at a time, place one, and discard the other two. Each tile you place can have an impact in the outcome of humanity, and you will be able to see it in the future viewport. The idea of the game is trying to find the ratios needed in order to reach all the endings.

There are Four possible outcomes to discover!

Controls

You can select tiles using the mouse, but you can also select them by using the Q, W and E keys. The camera can be moved by using the ARROW KEYS .

Love the concept!

Btw what is the font you used for the game?

Hi! Glad you liked the concept! The font I used is called "quicksand", it's a really beautiful font.
